Hiroyo Matsumoto & Aja Kong Team Up for Sendai Girls 5.19!

Aja Kong & Hiroyo Matsumoto 3A

Hiroyo blogged that she will be in the Sendai Girls show on 5.19. In the past 2 months Hiroyo has been featured in the Sendai Girls shows, first facing Meiko Satomura in March, and then Kagetsu in April.

For the Sendai Girls May 19th show, Hiroyo will team with her pro-wres idol – Aja Kong, to take on the winner of Kagetsu & Sendai Sachiko and Sawako Shimono & Syrui. Hiroyo has not teamed with Aja since 2011 in an OZ Academy show. Certainly, the duo will wreck a lot of havoc in Sendai Girls in a few days.

On the same show, the main event will see Meiko Satomura take on the soon to retire Ayumi Kurihara.

Hiroyo blogged that she will be a part of the July 7 New Japan Pro Wrestling event 「KIZUNA ROAD」. As part of the event, there will be a yukata festival. Yukata is the summer kimono. The yukata girls for the event will be helping to greet the visitors and to help draw the raffle winners. Hiroyo “Lady Destroyer of the Joshi Puroresu World” Matsumoto has been chosen for this honor.

Previously this duty had been filled by fellow wrestlers such as Ayumi Kurihara.

According to the NJPW website, visitors who attend the show wearing yukata will receive a special gift.

In Hiroyo’s blog, she mentioned that it has been a long time since she has worn a yukata, which is making her nervous. But as the special guest, she will receive a special seat to watch the show :)
