Hiroyo Matsumoto participate in the OZ Academy show on May 20, 2012 @ Shijuku-FACE. Hiroyo Matsumoto, Ozaki Mayumi & Chikayo Nagashima lost to Tomoka Nakagawa, Ayumi Kurihara and AKINO when Tomoka rolled Hiroyo up with the 120% Schoolboy. After the match, it was announced a tournament to crown the next challenger to Chikayo Nagashima’s OZ title, to initiate on June 10, 2012 @ Shinjuku FACE!
There will be 2 shows on June 10 – the day show’s card will be determined by fan voting. While the evening show will feature a one-night OZ No.1 Contender Tournament. The brackets are as follows:

1) Hiroyo Matsumoto vs. Mio Shirai
2) Tomoka Nakagawa vs. Carlos Amano
3) Yumi Ohka vs. Tsubasa Kuragaki
4) Ran Yu Yu vs. Manami Toyota (then winner gets Nao Komatsu)
After these matches are concluded, there will be semi finals and the final match to crown the new No.1 Contender to the OZ Championship title, currently held by Chikayo Nagashima.
